  •      In my research, I focused on uncovering traces of the first buildings bombed during World War II, a project I've titled "Invisible Scars". Whilst the passage of time has gradually erased many historical traces, these remnants still persist in contemporary architecture through subtle commemorative forms. My research aims to explore how these spaces, marked by gaps in memory, coexist with modern buildings and connect with contemporary society.

To achieve this, I designed a memorial called "London Scars", which brings together installation art, monument and museum elements to commemorate the site of Nazi Germany's first air raid on London during WWII. Currently, this historically significant location is marked only by a modest gravestone and remains largely unknown to the public. As the city has evolved and buildings have been renovated or replaced, the traces of the past have been gradually concealed, and the historical memory continues to fade.

Through this design, I hope to draw public attention to this historical event and encourage reflection, whilst bringing these hidden historical traces back into focus. In my design approach, I employed dynamic techniques, using the precise moment of the building's explosion as the conceptual model, attempting to capture this instant and infuse it with new symbolic meaning.
